The funeral home was built in 1956 and went through many updates and owners over the years before its current owners, the Welch family, took over in 1999. Brother and sister Steven and Kristen Welch are fifth generation funeral directors. Since acquiring Chapel By The Sea, they have made many improvements, such as adding a large window in the chapel with views of the sea. Their professional funeral staff has experience working with families to arrange funerals, memorials and cremations for all faiths. Chapel By The Sea takes providing funeral services for their community very seriously and employs funeral associates who all live in Pacifica, ready and willing to help you any time or day of the week. This funeral facility offers a large chapel and unlimited parking. They are located right off of Highway 1 in Pacifica, California.
