Founded in 1928 by William and Ethel Crippen, Crippen Mortuary is the only independently owned and operated funeral home in the foothills of Glendale, CA. The professional funeral team endeavors to provide their families with compassionate care during their time of need. Crippen takes pride in providing their local La Crescenta community with affordable services as well as trusted guidance. Whether you are in need of traditional funeral services or cremation services, their funeral staff will make personalized arrangements that honor the life of your loved one. Crippen Mortuary has an additional location in Santa Clarita Valley. Their La Crescenta facility boasts a classy interior with chandeliers, traditional furniture and decor, and neutral drapery. Crippen’s chapel can accommodate up to 150 people. The funeral home has space available for catering in the living room. In addition to space inside the facility, Crippens also offers a covered outdoor porch for gathering and getting some fresh air.
